Boardsports Customers Service – Above and Beyond

Dear Owner/Manager of Boardsports,

This email is forwarded in appreciation of your staff’s assistance and
support in my purchase of a stand-up paddle board from your 2010 Yonge
St store. Although I was served by Mitch in both of my visits and had a
few discussions with Adam over the phone, in all my dealings with all of
your staff, their assistance and support were always outstanding and
very professional.

Being in the military and living in Ottawa, my purchase was not a
one-stop shopping event. During my original visit to the store in
December, 2012 when Mitch identified the right SUP board to meet my
requirements/budget, to calling Adam a few days later in placing the
order, further discussions with both Mitch and Adam to arrange either
pick-up or shipping to Ottawa, and finally this Saturday’s pick-up where
Mitch served me extremely well and assisted me in purchasing a few
accessories (paddle, leash, and rack straps).

In each case, my business with Boardsports was a pleasure. Having Mitch
place and securing my new purchased board on my roof rack for the drive
back to Ottawa is service that is seldom found in today’s retail
business. I understand that a well run business such as yours and with
such professional sales staff, do not require any customer references.
However, if the need ever does come up that I can assist as a customer
reference, please do not hesitate to contact me. If I am away on
deployment and not available via phone, in most cases I am able to
respond by email using this account.

Lastly and for your information, I am very happy with my purchase and
will return back. I will also forward your store’s information to both
my Ottawa SUP board team-mates and my Canadian Forces athletes.
